lucy activewear Celebrates National Yoga Month With Free Yoga Classes


ALAMEDA, California – September 1, 2010 – lucy activewear, a fashion forward performance apparel company for women, is hosting complimentary yoga classes across the U.S. this September in celebration of National Yoga Month.

National Yoga Month is an awareness campaign designed to educate and share the many benefits of yoga. In support of this campaign, lucy® stores will kick off National Yoga Month chain-wide with a free in-store yoga class on Friday, September 10. The lucy® brand supports the idea that yoga is a foundation for every sport – and is for everyone. Known for offering a wide range of yoga pants to fit and flatter every body type, the lucy® brand is also highlighting several of its top-selling yoga pants this month. lucy® performance yoga pants are made with moisture-wicking, compressive lucy powermax™ fabric. The brand’s top three yoga pants include the lucy Hatha Power Pant™, the lucy Vinyasa Power Pant and the Perfect Core Pant, and are all available in short, regular and tall lengths. This September also marks the first anniversary of the lucy® brand’s commitment to Off the Mat, Into the World. In 2010, lucy activewear renewed its commitment to make a donation to Off the Mat, Into the World, a non-profit program co-founded by Seane Corn, to support OTM’s mission of inspiring conscious, sustainable community service through the power of yoga. Last year, lucy’s donation went to expand OTM’s efforts in developing leaders, building community and initiating local and global projects.
