lucy® Turns Ten – Invites Customers to Share Their Inspiration PORTLAND, Ore. - October 28, 2009 – This November, lucy activewear turns ten, celebrating a decade of inspirational women’s performance apparel. Born out of a desire for a line of true women’s activewear, the lucy® brand is dedicated to providing fashion forward performance apparel designed specifically for women. Last month, lucy opened its newest location outside of Boston, bringing the store count to 65 retail stores across the U.S.

To honor the anniversary, the brand is launching a contest inviting customers to share their inspiration. lucy begins accepting inspirational essay and video entries on November 1. Customers can enter on the lucy Facebook wall at www.facebook.com/lucy and/or via e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org. The top entry in the video category wins a $500 shopping spree and the leading essay entry wins $250 to spend at lucy.
Lucy stores will also be celebrating this month. On November 6th, all 65 locations will host a birthday-themed Fitness Friday event with free in-store classes and giveaways.
