I have two Walkabout Skorts, in black and gray, which I originally bought to wear to salsa dance classes, but which have now become my favorite items to wear to school.

I am a full-time graduate student in the South, where dignified dressing is still appreciated, and our weather can turn from hot and muggy to stormy with little warning. So I need outfits that can get rained on at lunchtime and still look sharp when I head into my reseach office in the afternoon. These skorts are absolutely perfect:

- They are as comfortable as wearing nothing at all
- They are sleek and flattering
- They look exactly like skirts (the skort is totally hidden, but gives me confidence when I have to kneel, climb open-air stairs, etc.)
- They dry rapidly (I tested this out just yesterday, when I went walking in some gardens with a friend and was caught in a downpour without an umbrella)
- They can be dressed up with heels, scarves, and nice tops, or dressed down with flats and stretchy t-shirts

If pressed for a criticism, I would say that the zipper can be a bit tricky to bring up over the seam, but as long as Lucy stays on top of that and does not decrease production quality, I don't think it is much of an issue.

Only wish the zipper would pull more easily up over the side seam!
Ouch, it pinched me a few times.
But it looks great, fits well, is perfect for travel and even to wear around when not traveling.

These skorts are great. They are very flattering and comfortable. I'm 5'1, 115lbs and the XS fits perfectly. The skort hits just at the knee for me--which I think is a nice length to be able to wear with some modestly.

The zipper is a little hard to zip at the thickest part of the fabric along the zip, if you don't use a little trick I figured out. I found the trick is to fold the fabric around the zipper together as you zip up around the thicker fabric part. This frees the zipper so it doesn't get stuck and it zips up and down easily.
